New SUNA Deep UV Nitrate Sensor for AUVs

Satlantic has launched the new SUNA Deep UV nitrate sensor, design for autonomous vehicles AUV. SUNA Deep main features include pressure rating of 2000 m and updated firmware for easy integration with profiling platforms, gliders and AUV's.

The improved method of calculating nitrate in seawater includes real-time temperature and salinity data from AUV or mooring platforms, that improves both the accuracy and precision of the calculation.
