SATLANTIC your partner in research
SATLANTIC was founded in Canada in 1991. It is an advanced technology company that designs and develops precision oceanographic and aquatic optical sensors and handling solutions.
Offers active and passive optical radiometers, instrumentation for real-time in situ nitrate measurements and advanced systems for variable chlorophyll fluorescence, for applications as analysis for optical research, satellite calibration and validation, and environmental prediction and assessment.
SATLANTIC also offers instruments integration and water quality monitoring systems that enable real-time operational decision making.
From the early stages as an optical sensors company designer, Satlantic has conducted collaborative research and development relationships, with several world-renowned research institutes such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, Rutgers University and the University of Southern California. As a result of these relationships, Satlantic has grown to include a full line of sensors and mooring systems for water quality monitoring and photosynthesis research.
