In 2003, Samson developed a new proprietary fiber technology, DPX, incorporating high strength Dyneema™ fiber with spun polyester to provide higher coefficient of friction for better grip. These products can replace wire ropes of the same strength and diameter, but at only a fraction of the weight, and can replace polyester or nylon ropes of the same strength with a much smaller diameter. |
