Pro-Oceanus Systems, Inc. is a Canadian company with over 10 years experience in developing and marketing highly accurate and precise gas sensors for measurements both in water and air. Provide sensors for measuring carbon dioxide, methane and various alkanes, hydrogen sulfide, total dissolved gases (gas tension) and nitrous oxide.

Each of the instruments has been developed to ensure stability and accuracy in a package that can be integrated easily for use in laboratories and deployed on moorings, gliders, buoys, and in underway mode on shipboard.

The sensors can be used in a broad range of applications such as CO2 y CH4 measurement to 1000 meters depth, measurement of the difference in pCO2 across the sea surface, monitoring CO2 for carbon capture and storage, measuring CH4 and other alkanes for tracking oil plumes, and finding oil leaks by detecting CH4 and other alkanes, among others.
