Argonaut-XR Current Profiler

The Argonaut-XR is a doppler current profiler with exclusive multi-cell feature that allows you to preprogram 10 fixed velocity cells wherever you want, then an additional 11th dynamic cell can be set to automatically change its position as the water level changes.

The XR offers exceptional value for near shore deployments in less than 40 m of water. Designed specifically for mounting on the bottom of coastal waters, estuaries or harbors, its small size, rugged build, and flexible system architecture make the XR attractive for both real-time operation and autonomous deployments. Never requiring calibration and the velocity accuracy is unaffected by biologic growth. Maximum profile range and resolution depend on the Argonaut-XR frequency.
