3D-ACM-PLUS+ Current Meter

The 3-Dimensional Acoustic Current Meter 3D-ACM-PLUS+ of point velocity delivers extremely precise, three-axis velocity measurements in a defined free field. The 3D-ACM-PLUS+ uses the most accurate and stable current measurement techniques.

The instrument incorporates an internal compass and tilt sensors to provide true current vector direction. The 3D-ACM-PLUS+ uses phase-shift acoustic transit time technology to provide high accuracy velocity, measures near seabed and surface in very clear as well as turbid water and no reflectors are required. Its compact size, light weight and low maintenance make it well suited for multiple meter arrays.

The 3D-ACM-PLUS+ also has the capability of adding a CTD module and can log up to two analog inputs from external sensors for quality waters such as OD or turbidity.
