Water Velocity

The current profilers measure current speed and direction in multiple layers throughout the water column, and the single-point current meters at only one level. The rapid velocity fluctuations are measured with velocimeters. The data are collected in very clear water and turbid water, very low and high velocities in any place from surface to near the bottom in ocean, lakes, rivers and laboratory.
