Multicorer

The Multicorer is designed to obtain multiple samples of sediment from the seabed at great depths. It is made of laser-cut AISI 316 stainless steel plate and tubes of transparent shockproof polycarbonate. The clear polycarbonate tubes are resistant to mechanical shocks.

The coring head is hydraulically damped to ensure undisturbed samples. The pipe control system allows the recovery of the sediment-water interface in the first centimeters of undisturbed sediment. The quick change of tubes assures a high operational speed. The Multicorer is used for sampling in chemical, geo-chemical and biological applications.

• Multicorer is available in three models: 6 core tubes (ø100 mm, length 600 mm, penetration depth 370 mm, detachable legs, gyro-supension), 4 or 6 tubes (ø110/105 mm, length 500 mm, penetration depth 35/50 cm, AISI 304), and 4 core tubes (ø60/52 mm, length 400 mm, penetration depth 200 mm).
