The underwater communication for transferring data and location and recovery of measuring instruments are usual operations in the environment monitoring. The acoustic and inductive modems provide fast wireless underwater communication, the acoustic release systems recover deployed instruments and the acoustic tracking systems provide positioning. These systems are used in all underwater environments, from the shallow water to the deep ocean.
